Obituary of Mary Simurda

Mary peacefully passed away at home on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 96 years of age. 

Beloved wife of late Stefan Simurda. Loving mother of Emily (John) Lamb and Steve (Susan) Simurda. Proud Baba of Stephanie (Mark), late Michael, Jenny (Chris); Matthew, Angela (Ricky), Tracy (Christian) and Mark. Mary will also be lovingly remembered by her 11 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Gloria and Maria for their wonderful care of Mary.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa Street, Bradford on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Martyrs of Japan Cemetery, Bradford.

In Mary's memory, donations may be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket.
