About Us
The community of Bradford West Gwillimbury was first served with a funeral home in 1836 by the Kilkenny family. Neil Lathangue took ownership in 1950 to 1963 who served the community for 24 years. Mac Lewis owned the funeral home between 1963 and 1973. He brought Bill Skwarchuk into the business, who then started caring for this community on his arrival in 1968. Bill was offered ownership in 1973, Bill and his family have been caring for the needs of our community for the last 48 years.
In Mount Albert, a funeral home was established in the 1900s by the Theaker family to serve Mount Albert and its surrounding communities. In 1963 Mac Lewis acquired ownership of the funeral home. Bill Skwarchuk assumed ownership in 1975. Bill and his family has been caring for the community ever since.
