Obituary of Richard "Rick" Wilson

Mechanic, Teacher, Author, Radio Personality, Event Organizer, Freight Train Conductor for 26 years, Lions Club Marathon (Past President twice), Friend

Rick unexpectedly passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 70 years of age.

Beloved husband of Sharon for 51 years. Loving dad of Brian (Silvie) Wilson and Joanna Hampton. Proud grandpa of Carson Wilson; Nicholas and Lucas Hampton. Cherished son of Cecille Wilson (Lorne Lockrey). Dear brother of Michael Wilson and Terry Wilson.

Known to many in the auto enthusiast groups; Rick will be sadly missed by those of the Back Alley Cruisers, Bradford and St. Thomas Dragway.

A celebration of Rick's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #521, 115 Back St., Bradford on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.  You are welcome to bring copies of photos to contribute to Rick's Memory Wall at the celebration.

In Rick's memory, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
