Mike and I feel so blessed to see all the people that Charlie touched. Tuesday was amazing and healed part of the hole left by Charlie’s passing. We love everyone that have reached out and visited and brought us food and let us grieve. Know that Charlie is home with us and at peace

I met Charlie and his Dad when I worked at Home Depot years ago. His Dad would often leave Charlie with me while he shopped. I loved that. We would have wonderful conversations. Charlie had a great sense of humour.
I am truly sorry for your loss. May your memories bring you comfort in the days to come. RIP Charlie.

I will remember Charlie as always having the biggest and brightest smile.
I didn’t get to know Charlie very well but would always ask about him and loved hearing about his adventures and follow what he was doing through his very proud grandparents.
I was very sad to hear we lost him.
Charlie definitely touched every person he met with his contagious smile and laughter. He will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.
My deepest sympathy to Karen and Mike and the whole family.

I remember that a long time ago, one of my neighbour's kids got picked up in a school. She told me I had to meet Charlie. I am so glad for that chance back then to meet Charlie. He was always so happy and he always had a smile. He was that ray of sunshine everyone needed. My sincere condolences to the Hurley family.

Charlie, it has taken a few days to come to terms with the fact that you are no longer here with us. The news of your passing has left such a hole, not only in our hearts, but in all the lives you have touched: your family, your friends, the community and all the connections you made around the world. There was truly no one like you Charlie. You had such an infectious smile and laugh that will be missed so dearly. You had a heart of gold and you cared so deeply for everyone you knew. We will miss your texts, your memes, you letting us know to avoid certain roads on the way home due to traffic, or the “it’s easier texting you than texting Aidan” messages. We will miss hearing you speak Italian & Newfie like it was your second language. The countless laughs and memories we shared at the Hurley house are ones that we will treasure forever. There are so many things we wish we could have said to you, and conversations we never had the chance to have. But I hope you can hear us when we still talk to you, and I hope you truly understood how much you meant to us. I hope you are resting easy wherever your VPN location is set to now!
Charles, you will be so greatly missed.
Love Aidan & Alexa

My sincere condolences Mike and Karen.
From the moment I met Charlie, I knew he was a special soul and one of the kindest people Ive ever met and he became one of my favorite clients.
From chatter of the Blue Jays to banter about the Maple Leafs to Bud Lites in the garage with friends... Charlie always found a way to make light of his situation. He knew how to touch people hearts and his infectious laugh and smile will never be forgotten. It was an honour to be part of Charlie's life.

My sincere condolences to the Hurley family! I had the pleasure of being Charlie’s classmate for a number of years at Fieldcrest. The first thing that comes to mind when I remember Charlie is that infectious laugh and vibrant personality! I am so lucky to have known him and grown up with such a charismatic character.

My deepest condolences on your loss. Charlie was a definite force. I have many happy memories of him at Fieldcrest but my favourite was him doing the announcements! His personality shone a little brighter those days and put a smile on everyone’s face!
Much love, Heather Fudge

Dear Karen and Mike. Bob and I are so sorry for your loss. We can all take a lesson from Charlie’s outlook on life. The world seems a little emptier without his positive presence. You both are in our thoughts and we wish you peace as your hearts begin to heal. Love and hugs, Bob and Cheryl

My father at 90, would travel from Kingston to Bradford, a 3 hour drive one way, to visit Charlie. Sorry Michael it really was about seeing Charlie. And although, it does say something about my father, it says something bigger about how special Charlie is, that my dad want to make the trip. Whether it be the optimistic outlook or is head back laughing you always left his house with a smile on your face. Karen and Michael I am sure you now have an angel looking over you. Love Tim and Julie
