Obituary of Dianne Marjorie van Voorst

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing away of a dear wife, mother and Nanny.  On Wednesday July 17th, 2024 in her 81st year, Dianne Marjorie van Voorst (nee Frost) passed peacefully into the hands of her heavenly Father with her family by her side.

Devoted and loving wife of Jacob (“Jim”) for more than 58 years. Daughter of the late James Frost and the late Marjorie Frost (nee Smith). Loving mother of Brian (Carolyn), David (Joyce), Mark (Linda) and Neil (Tanya). Proud Nanny to Jacob, Calvin, Owen, Rayne and Jonah. Dear older sister of the late Sheila (Ken) May and Bruce (Judy) Frost. Dear sister-in-law of John (the late Anne), Evert (the late Joanne), Hank (Linda), Dick (Barbara) and Alex (Jean-Ann).

Friends and family may attend a visitation to be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Wednesday August 28th, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Celebration of Life Service to be held at St. John’s Presbyterian Church Bradford, 2940 10th Sideroad, Bradford, on Thursday August 29th, 2024 at 11 a.m. followed by refreshments at the Church. Private family interment to follow at Scotch Settlement Presbyterian Cemetery.

In Dianne’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
