Obituary of Sidney De Jong

Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 91 years of age.

Beloved husband of Ann for 60 years. Loving dad of Carl (James), Clayton (Sue) and Mary Ellen (Dwayne) Sheppard. Proud grampa of Jordan, Dakota (Amos); Sasha (Kodie), Ashley (Dan), Zakary (Katie) and Kipden (Megan). Cherished great grampa of Wyatt, Talon, Grant and Jaylee. Dear eldest brother of Jane (Andy), Andy (Martha), Bill (Linda), Susan (Martin), late Gilbert (late Marga) and Effie (late George). Sidney will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.
