Dave and Sharon have been wonderful friends for forty-eight years. They were great neighbours in Mississauga when our children were young. As far as I know, Dave never complained when Sharon babysat for me. We celebrated many special occasions together, including birthdays, anniversaries, pool parties, weddings and so much more.
Dawn and our daughter are the same age and played together as young girls. Throughout the years, after both families moved from Mississauga, we always maintained our loyal friendship, by spending weekends together whenever possible.
There were so many fun times spent in the pool with Dave and in the evening, he would often treat us to a fire out behind the pool where we would share stories and sip on wine. When Dave and Sharon came to visit us, we would usually travel the wine region around Niagara. Dave’s favourite winery was “Angel’s Gate Winery” in Beamsville.
Dave lived life to the fullest and was a dedicated friend, neighbour and financial advisor. He will be truly missed.
We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to our very dear friend, Sharon, her wonderful daughter, Dawn, and the entire family.

Dear Dawn and family. We are saddened to hear of Dave’s passing and wish to convey our sincere condolences. We always enjoyed our visits with you both and share a laugh along with the business at hand. Dave always lit up when he shared his adventures with his beloved Sharon and always made a point to tell us to “do it and enjoy yourselves while you can because you just never know “. Probably the best advice we’ve ever gotten and we’re doing our best to make him proud. He’s gone way too soon Dawn and he will be missed. We’re thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. I knew Dave for more than 40 years. He was probably the smartest person I ever met. We were introduced through my brother in law Jim Clark. For many years we would get together at my cottage to hunt ducks and turkeys. He had a great sense of humor. I enjoyed our chats about financial matters. When I decided to invest it was a no brainer where to go. He was my advisor for many years. I have many fond memories of Dave. I for one will greatly miss him. Until we meet again. R.I.P Gerry

I have had the privilege to work in the office for most of my working career. Dave & my dad were buddies and enjoyed a sniff of scotch every so often (especially at our annual Christmas Eve lunch). He always had great stories from back in his banking days and of course lots of crazy hunting stories when he would try to get me to eat whatever it was he recently caught (I was always afraid when he would bring me a soup to sample of what game would be in that soup!).
He was always cheery, informative and someone I could count on to know the answer when I had a question. I know he was passionate about his clients and especially proud to bring Dawn into the business and work alongside her. The front corner office of 17345 Leslie St. will always be 'Dave's office' in my mind. He will be missed by his 17345 Leslie St. advisor family!

Dave and I were best friends for over 40 years. I met him when he was the manager of BMO on Main Street in Newmarket I invited him over to my place as he said he was a banker that did make house calls. That was the first of regular visits and relaxing hours sitting on the back porch sipping scotch. He was my financial advisor up until the end as we as my BFF for all those years. He was very nervous when he stared as a CFP on his own but quickly built a loyal customer base which he regarded and treated as friends We shared countless dinners and many other good times. He and Sharon enjoyed visiting us on the beach in florida as well as visiting when I moved to Windsor. They really liked Greenfield village in Dearborn Michigan. Dave and I also had fun felling trees and cutting firewood in my back bush. He enjoyed cars and here are photos of his first and last that gave him joy We talked and shared stories for countless hours. I could always count on Dave for help and advice. You will be missed and and remembered by many. Rest well my friend
