Obituary of Nicolo (Nick) Gucciardi

Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 85 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Assunta. Loving father of Joe (Maria), Tom (Beth) and Vince (Melissa). Proud Nonno of Juliana, Andrew; Cole, Dante; Marcus, Larissa and Nicolas. Dear brother of Giacomo (late Paola) and John (Sara) and brother-in-law of Giuseppe (Wilma), Domenico (late Elena), Anna, late Vincenzo (Rosa), late Maria, late Modestina, late Mario (Maria), late Antonio and late Caterina. Nick will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

The family would like to thank all of the medical staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre as well as the staff and friends at Holland Gardens, Bradford. Your care and compassion is deeply appreciated.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.

In Nick's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation of Canada or to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
