Obituary of Francis Herlihey

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Francis Robertson Herlihey; Robert or Rob to friends and family. He died on March 20, 2024. He is reunited with his loving wife, Donna Nicoletta Herlihey. He is survived by his 4 children - the prides of his life - Andrew (Tracey), Jessica (Andrew), Dana, and Francesca (Phil), and his 7 grandchildren Remi, Mila, Beau, Connie, Patrick, James, and Nicoletta. 

Born in 1946 in Haliburton, Francis received his B.A from the University of Western Ontario. He went on to become a Chartered Accountant and started his own business in Mississauga, where he and Donna raised their family. Francis will be remembered for his passion of the outdoors (especially summers spent on Deer Lake, sailing his boats The Honey and Miss Magic, and his golf swing), his wicked sense of humor, and his devotion and generosity to his family. 

The family will host a private dinner this week and a public celebration of life on August 10th, 2024. For more information, please contact the family.
