Please accept my deepest sympathies. I was so sad to hear of Elizabeth's passing. Elizabeth was a huge part of my memories of our visits to the farm and her sunny nature is what I remember most about her. I recall how much fun she was and I know you will all miss her. Please accept the condolences of the entire Powell family.

My condolences to Liz's family at this time. I met Liz while we were working at Burnett's and Struth many years ago. We had many laughs together and I remember her beautiful smile. We had many shared memories of Ballroom dancing as we both dipped our toes in that sport at the same dance studio at different times when we were young. I connected with her a couple of times while we both were happily volunteering at RVH. We will miss her bright smile!

Liz was my best friend starting in grade 5 when we moved from our respective one room schools to the consolidated school on highway 88 and had to take the bus. We went to Brownies, Girl Guides, 4H and Sunday School together and had many pyjama parties with our other friends. We were half way through High School when my parents retired from the farm and moved into Newton Robinson to the west side of hwy 27 and I had to transfer from BDHS to Alliston’s Banting Memorial. I missed my old friend especially on the bus rides home where we could talk about the day and mutual events but we soon drifted apart. Our lives took different directions and we drifted apart. Recently after loosing a mutual friend Mikki, Jane and I started to plan to reconnect with Liz and have a wonderful dinner out as soon as Liz was feeling better. Unfortunately that was not to be and I will forever regret not having that opportunity. I send my sincerest condolences to Liz’s entire family, she will be forever missed.
