Obituary of Gail Blacktopp

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gail Margaret Blacktopp (nee Fischer) of Mount Albert, on Wednesday December 13, 2023 in her 84th year.

Cherished and beloved wife of Bruce for 65 years. Loving mom of Jan (Harold), Steve (Brenda), Karen, Wendy (Dave). Proud Grandma to Amanda (Andrew), Shane (Careese), Mitch (Emily), Glen (Rachel), Jake (Jaime), Gary (Kayla), Dylan (Bethany), Ryan (Erika), predeceased Spencer, and Paige (Nick). Cherished Great Grandma to Brook, Sarah, Dan, Jenny, Henry, Archer, Lawson, Isla, Parker and one more arriving soon.

Born November 2nd, 1940 to Albert and Margaret Fischer in Toronto. The second youngest of 6 children. Gail will be fondly remembered and missed by her loving brother Doug. She is predeceased by her sister Ann and brothers Murray, Don and Jim. She will be missed dearly by many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Gail will be honored in a private Celebration of Life at a later date in the spring.
