Saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. She was a wonderful person, and an inspiration. Sylvia contributed so much to the community of Bradford - from the Good Neighbour awards that helped strengthen community ties, to the founding of the Danube Seniors Leisure Centre. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be remembered!

To the family of Sylvia and Trevor Luxton, I was saddened to hear of Trevor's death shortly after I saw him walking in the upper Canada Mall and now I am sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing. They were a force to be admired in the town of Bradford. We worked together as St. Charles Catholic School creating a monthly program, called 'Generations Can Connect' with the patrons of the Danube Seniors Center. Planting gardens, line dancing, school concerts etc. Never will I forget the enthusiasm for that program between the Seniors and the students. Thank you and blessings for Trevor and Sylvia.

I met Sylvia 51 years ago when I was in Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston having our daughter. Sylvia was a caring, compassionate person and a wonderful nurse.

I remember Sylvia when I worked at Frank Jonkman's and she would come in to visit Dorothy. Always friendly and would pass the time of day with you. May the Dear Lord bless her and take her to eternal rest.
