John was a great guy and a good friend.
Our memories revolve mainly around skiing, with good times at John's ski chalet and Sir Sam's in Haliburton, when staying at our cottage there. A special ski memory was skiing in Switzerland with he and Myles in 1965 when Sandy and I worked in Germany.
Our sincere condolences to you, Alice and Fiona. It's a sad time, but John had a long and good life, and none of us can ask for more.
