Obituary of George Koekkoek

George peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. George Koekkoek of Barrie and formerly of Bolton at 85 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Cornelia "Connie" (nee Smit). Loving companion of Mary-Lou Soper. Loving father of Lorne (Jennifer), Roy and Barry. Proud grandpa of Justin, Evan and Emma. Also survived by his sister Liz (Roy) Kuzmyk. George will be lovingly remembered by the extended Koekkoek and Smit families.

Private family arrangements will be held. 

In George's memory, donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation or to Hospice Simcoe.
