I am quite dismayed to have just discovered that Peter has passed away. I have so many fond memories of this man that go all the way back to us being chums in high school. During those days, we were virtually inseparable. He was so much more than just a friend - perhaps more than he ever knew. And for that, I will be forever grateful. Of course, it was a real pleasure to re-connect up with him later in life. To his absolute credit, he was the same fellow I remember all those years ago - stalwart, kind, giving, enthusiastic and many more glowing adjectives that he so richly deserved.
God's speed dear fellow. Peter, you will remembered fondly until the end of my own days on this planet.

Our children have fond memories of Mr. Wukasch from their years at Clearmeadow. They remember him as someone who made learning about science fun, and who always spoke to them with kindness and respect. He made a difference and a lasting impact in their lives, and in our neighbourhood, where the butterfly garden that he helped to create reminds us all to care for the smallest of living things. We extend our deepest sympathy to the Wukasch family.

We remember Peter as a kind soul. His thoughtfulness toward others was such an endearing quality as evidenced toward the students he taught, as well as his interactions with his colleagues during his time at the Christian school. His gentle nature always came through even in times when others may have seen things differently. Though we have not had recent contact, it was truly our delight that our paths crossed so many years ago. He is fondly remembered.

Peter will be missed by all, a kind man, dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His courage and positive outlook through all the challenges he faced are a lesson for all of us.

My husband and I have known Peter for a very long time and Peter is our children's Godparent. We have lots of great memories of Peter throughout the years. One story we always talked about is when we spent time at Beth's parent's cottage in the summers. Peter would take us on a canoe ride in the afternoon, telling us stories about Muskoka Lake. The trip was always very peaceful; talking and laughing and having a good time.
Peter was a person with a smile. He was very caring, compassionate and kind. Whenever I phoned if Peter would answer, we always had a great chat about himself and his health. He would always tell me that we are on their prayer list and have encouraging words for our family.
Peter will be missed dearly! Prayers for our dear Beth and the family.
When we think of Peter this Bible
verse comes to mind Colossians 3:12-13a
"So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving..."
Much love and happy memories,
Leila, Vish and family!

Peter had an enthusiasm and love for all creatures, especially birds. Thats one of the things I appreciated about him, as he shared and impassioned kids at youth group, students and adults alike to open their eyes to the absolute splendour of God's work. I too am truly amazed at God's beauty and was thankful Peter shared it, in interesting and factual ways so that it made people STOP . . if just for a moment, to reflect on the workmanship, beauty, wonder and cycle of life ~ Heartwarming also to see the love, steadfastness, passion and culture Beth and he shared . . What a love story . . simple, endearing and blessed to be sure. May he rest peacefully until his bride has fulfilled her life here on earth as God intended for her also and meets him in due time on the other side. So grateful to have been a witness to this Godly love story ~

My family had the privilege of knowing Peter and his zest for life, with true gentleness and compassion! With all his difficulties he suffered physically he was always reaching out to others! He phoned my house often to tell my husband that he was praying for him, he tutored our daughter for a time, and whenever I ran into Peter in town he always was interested in how my family was doing, always had an encouraging word and he would tell me he was praying for us! And I knew it was true! Peter’s life is a testimony of God’s hope and compassion to anyone! Peter will be missed!! Prayers for God’s continued hope and compassion to surround Beth and the family during this time!
