Obituary of Carlo Romagnoli

Carlo Romagnoli, originally of Bradford, Ontario, long time resident of Aurora, Ontario, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. 

Carlo was the oldest of four siblings: Joe (Fiona) Romagnoli; Ann (Roy) Nelson; and Mary Dunne (Manny Rasberry), and maintained a close friendship and family bond with his siblings throughout his life. Carlo was uncle and great-uncle to many loving nephews and nieces, and he will be greatly missed by them all. 

Carlo was married to his wife, Adele (Timm), for 55 years, and they had three sons together Shawn (Cynthia); Neil (Danielle Matar) and Travis (Gena). He was the best Papa ever to his five grandchildren: Celia, Pierce, Vivian, Renee and Max Romagnoli. Carlo's love and leadership of his family was unmatched. 

Carlo was a master welder for 40 years in his professional career. He was an integral part of crews that built buildings throughout Canada and the US and was a mentor to many that he worked with. He was a true, great outdoorsman and fisherman, always seeming to catch the biggest fish (or at least saying that he did). Carlo's constant companion and buddie the last four years was his rescue dog, Micco, and Carlo was a supporter and friend to Ontario SPCA Humane Society. 

A visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford, Ontario on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 3:30 p.m. until the time of a service at 5 p.m.
