Obituary of Ronald A. Simmons

aka "The Bread Man"

Peacefully passed away with family at his side at Bradford Valley Care Community on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 86 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Shirley (nee Bellar). Loving dad of late Kenny, Marlene (Rick), late Doug. Proud Papa of James (Sarah) and Jazlyn; Shawn and Amber. Survived by his sisters-in-law Gwen Simmons and Sheila Nelson. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his companion Shirley Foster. Ron will also be fondly remembered by Sonny Luangrath, Keely Douglas, nieces, nephews and many friends. Special thanks to the staff at Bradford Valley for their compassionate care of Ron.

A memorial gathering will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 2-4 p.m.

In Ron's memory, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
