Obituary of Julia Brinkos

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket with family at her side on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Julia Brinkos (nee Turcman) of Bradford at 90 years of age.

Beloved wife of late Michael Brinkos. Loving mother of Nancy (Joe) Matys, Karen Brinkos (Laura), James Brinkos, Michael (Sharon) Brinkos and David (Donna) Brinkos. Proud Baba of Jennifer (Raymond) Reitzel, Stephanie (Shaun) Olsen, Jonathan Matys; Andrew Mendrek; Michael, Kyle, and Melissa Brinkos; Samantha and Christopher Brinkos. Cherished Great Baba of Michael, Kolbe, Magdalene and Isaac Reitzel; and Annabella Olsen. Dear sister of late Mary (late Steve) Vag and late Irene (late Ron) Sutherland. Dear sister-in-law of Mary (late John) Molokach and late Joe (Jean) Brinkos. Julia will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. 

Special thanks to her caregivers Arleen, Marlyn and Mary Michelle for their compassionate care.

A visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.
