My sincerest condolences to the Stella family. I met Tony during our Midas days where some friendly competition quickly turned into a great friendship. Tony always had my back and we became collogues again at Toromont, while always remaining close friends. Whether is was Pizza at Marcello's or just a coffee at Cappuccino, we always make sure to get together on a regular basis. Adam, Veronica & Rachael, your dad was so proud of you! His eyes would light up whenever he talked about you, and it was often. Tony, although we spent a lot of time together, both in person and by phone, it doesn't seem long enough. I'm going to miss you buddy! Rest in Peace my friend.

My sincerest condolences to the Stella Family. I worked with Tony at Toromont for over 8 years directly and he was a great mentor and coach when I originally joined the team. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and went well above and beyond the call of duty to help his team and always found a solution no matter how complex the challenge was. To his children you should know that he was extremely proud of you. I will always remember the great times we had working out of the log cabin and outside of work, playing hockey and golf. Tony you will be truly missed buddy!

Tony always had a smile and a positive word. He loved cycling and was the best bike mechanic and problem solver I know. He loved being a dad and talked about his kids constantly.
I am so grateful for the time I had with him. He taught me grace, courage, and how to live. My sincere condolences to his family. I know he will be deeply missed.

My first memory of Tony was when I took my beloved Jeep to him at Bianchi’s to see if he could figure out what Chrysler couldn’t with an over-run and stalling issue. The test drive was one of the rare times that the symptoms actually showed themselves in a grand way in front of a mechanic. She started to chug and stall, so Tony pulled over to the side of the road and together we figured out the issue as we watched my Baby go up in flames! The catalytic converter was clogged, got red hot, and the now burning rubber hanger for it was like a pilot light for the flooring. It was nice to have Tony as backup that day as the first educationally challenged cop on the scene tried to accuse me of torching it for insurance!
Yes, Tony had my back!
Seeing the numerous memories and condolences for Tony, and his family, speak volumes as to the type of person he was. People cared about him because he took the time to help them at some point in time and obviously added to the happiness of the people in his circle.
Adam, Veronica and Rachel, the family values and lessons that your father taught you through the years are what you take forward in life. They are part of you. That means your father is part of you, is still with you, and always will be! Those instilled values will one day help you find the right partner in life and will become a major part of your teachings to your own children if you one day endeavor to have brats of your own!
Words of advice from your crazy uncle that I’m sure your father would agree with:
- Take the time to find the right person for you. Don’t be in any major rush and end up settling.
- Find somebody that has the same vision of happiness that you have for your future so you can grow old together and share memories while rocking on your porch chairs together.
- Make sure they don’t pull you down, yet lift you up and are a positive influence in your “partnership”!
- Make sure that if you have children that you share in responsibilities and are on the same page with how to raise them.
How are you going to find out all these things? Communication! Ask questions! Be open and honest and demand the same from them!
Well kids, Kara and I send our condolences and wish you all the strength in the world to help you through this tragic time in your lives!

My deepest condolences to Tony's family and children. Adam, Veronica and Rachel your dad loves you so much. I have the pleasure and honour of calling Tony a "true" friend. No judgement and always there for you with words and deeds. We could pick up a conversation if we hadn't seen each other in months as if it was yesterday. A sweet and unhindered soul, with such kind eyes. I had the pleasure of meeting Tony when his son Adam and my daughter Megan played hockey together. Never raised his voice once, and always positive attitude. A lesson to all dads. Eventually, he invited me to play with his brothers Sammy and Carlo in their Friday night hockey. Lot's of espresso's back at my place afterwards. We also had the pleasure of working together back and forth between our two houses on a few backyard swimming pool projects, always knowing the countless memories and fun it would provide to his family and friends. My prayers for Tony. RIP brother.

Marie Wilkins (nee Picavet) and Ryan Wilkins family:
This was our Tony
In Bradford,
Quietly a hero
Who lived his life
For his family,
Withholding nothing.
His youth...his love...
His enjoyment of being alive...
His future, like a book
With half the pages still uncut---
This was our Tony...
In Bradford...
The one who preached true love
Quietly to those around him
Complete to the last small picture frame,
Nothing forgotten.
He was awfully good at fixing things,
At stepping into the breach when he was needed.
That's what he did at home;
He was needed.
And even Death must have been a little shamed
By his eagerness:
That's who Tony was
Thinking of always us!
May You Rest In Peace and Know That You Will Be Loved and Missed By All Who Had The Pleasure Of Knowing You

Adam, Veronica and Rachel we loved your father and had many great times with him. He loved you deeply and was a proud father. I hope he is cycling in heaven. I know how much he loved his rides with Ralf. He was a kind, gentle soul that had a warm welcoming smile. He will not be forgotten.
This picture is of us riding the cycle for heart.
Tony had a big heart.
Rest In Peace xoxo
