Rick will always hold a huge part of my heart. He raised two beautiful, strong daughters. I am blessed to have in my life. Shawna was one of my dearest friends and with her passing I was given the gift of friendship with Amy. Rick's strength and determination after Shawna's passing showed me how lucky they both are to have such an amazing Dad in their life. My heart breaks for Ellen, his best friend, wife and life partner. May you be surrounded by love, family and friends Ellen, as you learn to navigate through life's journey without Rick by your side. I am grateful for the few times I got to spend time with Rick ( and Ellen). Thank you Amy for giving me the opportunity to let your Dad know I loved him and to hear I love you back in return before his passing. May his soul rest in Paradise with his sweet and dearly missed Daughter Shawna. Hugs times infinity to all those missing a piece of their hearts now that Rick has joined Shawna in Heaven.
