Our thoughts and prayers go out to you Lori and the girls. I have so many wonderful memories of when we were all young and dating. Skiing up at Horseshoe Valley, going to bush parties off the middletown sd Rd, four wheeling with Eric behind the wheel , and riding snowmobiles in the winter at Hambly's.
We were lucky enough to still see each other around town and chat on the side of Simcoe Rd as he always pulled up in the truck to say hi if we were walking. I close my eyes and see his smile and hear his infectious laugh.
We are so sorry to hear of this loss . Take care of each other.
love Donna and Kevin

Dear Lori, Sabrina and Lindsay, I've known Eric since we were 11 and he had a friend ask me to be his girlfriend one morning. Sadly, my new relationship ended by 3:00 the same day as that person wouldn't talk to me. From that time, Eric has always been a friendly and caring person. I just wanted to share a funny story from that time before he had his signature moustache! On an additional note, you both were more than amazing parents at school, where I had the privilege of teaching your beautiful girls.

I remember first meeting Eric, and I was struck by how funny and nice he was. He had such a great sense of humour and was very easy to get along with. He was a lot of fun during those crazy Mattawa family reunions or any family get together. I also remember how much he adored Lori and how sweet they were as a couple. I am truly sorry for such loss to Lori, Sabrina and Lindsay, and to all Eric’s friends and family. Love, from Karen Pecore and Family, Newmarket.

It saddens me more than words can express to hear of the passing of Eric. Growing up together from kids to adults, we had allot of great fun and memories.
Growing up outside of Bradford on the 10th was never boring having Eric as a friend. We always found fun things to do, dirt biking snowmobiling, and so much more but I could never be the dare devil Eric was. He just loved having fun.
One of my best memories that I still tell to this day, is when we were maybe 10 years old. Eric's dad worked for Paul Sadlon Motors, and would bring home a demo car or truck. Eric and I thought it would be a great idea if we take the car for a spin down the 12th concession when his parents were not home. We could hardly see over the steering wheel, and yes we had a few close calls wiping out. We did that so many times with so many different cars, I can't remember how many. I don't think his mom and dad ever found out.
How grateful I am that Mr. and Mrs. Park allowed me to be part of their lives and have Eric as a friend and brother.
I will miss you greatly Eric, my deepest regret is I just wish so much time had not passed since we seen each other. I will not forget you or our great memories we had.
Lori, I can't express how sorry I am for you and your family.
Rest in peace buddy, and thanks for being my friend.
