Obituary of Wayne Atkinson

Wayne unexpectedly but peacefully passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Wayne Atkinson of Barrie and formerly of Holland Landing at 75 years of age.

Beloved husband of Helen Atkinson (Stokes). Loving dad of Cheryl Maros (Bo) and Neil Atkinson. Special grampa of Joshua (Sonia), Spencer (Kaeli), and Mackenzie (Stevie). Proud great grampa of Mason, Leland, Isabella, Maverick and "one on the way." Wayne will also be fondly remembered by the Atkinson and Stokes families and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 1 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 2 p.m. 

In Wayne's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
