Obituary of Denzil Peter Miao

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Denzil Miao. Beloved husband and best friend of Kim. Adored father of Athena (Dan), Adrea (Cameron) and Amber. Cherished Dede to Jasmine, Ryan, Allison, Owen, Liam and Amya. Devoted son of King Wah and Blanche Miao (deceased). Loving brother to Marie (Sheldon), Elizabeth (Paul) and Sandra (Andy). Dear brother-in-law to Kerry and Christopher. Denzil will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Denzil followed in his father’s footsteps working at Tremco for 25 years.  He moved on to establish his own business, Flying Colours Paint and Decorating Store and his sharpening business, Exact Edge.

Denzil and Kim were able to fulfill a lifelong dream of traveling around the world together.  Denzil enjoyed camping, the Blue Jays, and spending time with the family pets.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff in the RAU and ICU units at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

A public memorial visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 19153 Centre St., Mt. Albert on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. A private memorial service will be held.

Facial masks are required for the memorial visitation and service.
