Obituary of Alvin (Al) McGenerty

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 73 years of age. Beloved husband of Wendy. Loving dad of Tammy (Brant) and David (Jennifer). Proud Poppa of Alyssa, Scott; Meghan, Cassidy, Abbie and Jessika. Cherished Great Poppa of Noah, Merrick, Dalton, Caly “Cole” and predeceased by Liam and Michael. Dear brother of Nelson (Bertha), Carole (late Len), Ruth (Eddy) and Barb (Paul). Al will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends.

A public visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5–8 p.m.  Due to COVID – 19 restrictions only 60 guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time (no appointment is necessary). Masks and social distancing will be required.

A private funeral service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home by invitation. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.
