I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Nick.
I didn’t have the pleasure of seeing his garden but from what I was told, he loved it and his prized peonies. I fondly remember him as my gentle, kind uncle.
Deepest sympathy to Aunt Afie and family. He was loved and will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Nicholas’s passing.
I would always look forward to hopefully seeing Nick happily working on his garden whenever I’d ride by; so I could give a wave or stop and chat. Nick was always happy to share our common interest in Amateur Radio and answer my questions about his garden.
Nick always made people feel welcome and his sincere interest in me would always raise my spirits and rekindlle my interest in our topic of conversation.
I will miss knowing he was always someone who’d be happy to see me and he will be greatly missed for his well known contributions to the Amateur radio community.

Nick was my first friend when I joined the Newmarket Garden Club. He always sat with me if I was alone. That was just the type of person he was. He is one of the nicest and kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting and just so humble even though he grew the best plants.
I will miss him. He is an angel.
My deepest condolences to his family.

My heartfelt condolences to all for your loss. I only met Nick a few times but had the "pleasure" of fixing his computer every time Ron brought it to me after it mysteriously got another virus. Rest in peace Nick.

My sincerest sympathy to all of the family. I had a treasured peony of Nick's in my own garden which gave me many years of joy. Nick's legacy of growing spectacular peonies and gladioli will live on and continue to bring that beauty and joy to many gardens. He will be sorely missed.

Hello to Afra, and Family,
My dearest condolences to all of you.
As Nick was wonderful grower and a terrific shower of his cut specimens and vegetables, especially the Peonies and Gladioli (the 3 Gladioli trophy for the Newmarket Garden Club was Nick's for years).
Both of us have that competitive edge. As Nick had encouraged me to compete at the Peony competitions and he was always successful, and received special awards.
I will truly miss Nick, and Thank you to Linda and Joe as he will always be a piece of my garden and remembered fondly.
Thank you
Mary-Ann

Very sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Nick,
I have many good life long memories of Uncle Nick and Aunt Afra when the families would gather at their house in New Market on the weekends. I would always want to check out the gardens and rabbits outside and got stung a few times in the berry rows. We would hang out and play with all the new cool toys and be offered chips from a big barrel with a choice of flavors to sprinkle on, I thought at the time, man my Uncle must have some good connections nobody else gets chips this way. Eventually after dinner we would all sit around watching Wild Kingdom and Walt Disney and the only disturbance would be listing to the party line rings on the phone. There was a nice ambiance around Uncle Nick and I will miss that and him.
Our deepest condolences to the Family and Friends and to everyone that knew Uncle Nick
