My thoughts and sympathy are with the family at this sad time. I remember how nice Mrs. Foster always was when I came over to see Jane as a child. I had nice memories of her.
Take Care,
Lucille Rose

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Ken and family. Joyce was a wonderful, kind, loving lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a fun and compassionate Grandmother to Ryan and Jordan. She took such pride in taking care of them when they were younger and she truly had a special bond with each. Joyce always made sure she made everyone's favourite food at family events. This meant a lot to those who were the recipients of her cooking and baking. For me, she always made my favourite tea biscuits and her tea biscuits soon became my son's favourite as well. While it may sound like a simple thing, it speaks volumes about the type of person Joyce was. She was always looking out for and helping others. A beautiful person inside and out and she will be greatly missed.
Love Laurie, Cori & Logan Roberts

I am so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. My dad, Lloyd Snow, of Calgary was Joyce's cousin. My grandma, Abby Snow, was Great-Aunt Minnie's sister. I met Joyce when I was a teenager on a family visit to Ontario in 1967, and I think you may have visited Mom and Dad here. I definitely recognize her in her photo. Although I have corresponded a bit recently with Joyce and Carol since Mom and Dad's passing, I'm sorry not to have gotten to know Joyce and her family as well. I wish you all strength and comfort in this difficult time. G2tFT

I am so saddened to hear that Joyce has passed away. Growing up in Holland Landing, Joyce was like a second Mom to me, because growing up with Keith, Jane and Terry, you were treated the same way her own children were and you behaved or else. The Foster family has lost their bright light, but God has welcomed into his kingdom a one of a kind, wonderful lady who will live on in the hearts of the rest of the family, and everyone that ever had the pleasure of knowing Joyce..

I only met "Jane's mom" a few times, but she was always so very very nice and welcoming. My first meeting was while Joyce was working tirelessly at the strawberry social in Holland Landing Church in which she paid extra attention to make sure we had enough. Jane's stories of her childhood as the daughter of true pioneers of Holland Landing and the amazing heritage she is blessed with, and Joyce's part in it all, is an an amazing tribute to a wonderful family. God bless you Jane, your dad and the entire Foster family as your memories of Joyce become your treasures.
