Obituary of Shirley Marie Burtch

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday, April 10, 2017. Shirley Burtch (nee Ramer) of Mt. Albert at 80 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Ted Burtch and the late Jack Hill. Loving mom of Ron Hill, Debbie Kirton (David MacBain), Cheryl Yakeley (Hugh Rivers); and Kevin (Debra) Burtch. Proud grandma of Shaman, Ashley, Taylor; Clayton (Madeline), Jennifer (Chuck); Brandon, Bradley, Brett; Marissa (Tyler) and Miranda. Cherished great grandma of Tiffany, Tanner and Maverick. Dear sister of Don (Lorraine). Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families. Shirley will also be sadly missed by her many friends. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #382, 31 Princess St., Mt. Albert on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. In Shirley’s memory, donations may be made to the Lung Association.
