Though I didn't get to see Marion much, I always enjoyed it when I did. She often enlightened me about my father's youth and my parent’s young married life. The stories were usually ones I had never heard before and I especially liked the ones about when they were kids, working at Uncle Bun's farm etc. When I was visiting her in hospital last week I finally asked how she got the name Mame, then heard the story about how Karen couldn't pronounce Marion. Sure glad I made that visit. She was a real treasure and will be missed by everyone. Hope Mame's enjoying a good euchre game with the gang in heaven.

My heart is deeply saddened with the passing of my beautiful Aunt Marion but I will find comfort in my memories.
My parents always reminded me that it was Marion who introduced her co-worker, Eldora Benham to her brother Ray Taylor, so without Aunt Marion, I would not exist. But beyond that, when I think of my Aunt Marion, my first thoughts are of her brilliant, dry sense of humour of her observations of life and people that could always bring a smile and a laugh. And then there was the other side of Aunt Marion who shared with me her experience and knowledge to give me advice and guidance when I was a young, single parent. She was always so very kind and generous to me, to my young son and to others who were lucky enough to have Marion touch their life.
Bud, please know that your mother always had a special place in my heart and my memories are filled with great fondness.
Garry and I offer our deepest condolences to you and Linda.
Sincerely, Vici & Garry
