Obituary of Ann Tjepkema

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, surrounded by her family on Monday, March 21, 2016. Ann Tjepkema (nee Vlas) of Asnorveldt in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Sidney for 68 years. Loving mother of Gary (Judy), Sam, Henny (Joe) Popadynec, John, Dorothy Farrell, Betty Tjepkema, Janie (Michael) Whiteman and Christine (Richard) de Faria. Proud Oma of Stephanie, Melissa, Jennifer, Amanda; Lisa, Caroline, Bobby; Samantha; Adam, Julia, Sarah; Jessica and Justin. Ann will also be lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren. Dear sister of Else (Brom) of the Netherlands. Ann will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews in the Netherlands. Friends may call at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. In Ann's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
