Obituary of Fatima Almeida

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday, January 12, 2015. Fatima Almeida of Bradford at 75 years of age. Beloved wife of Gil. Loving mother of Ana (Luis) Barroso, John (Kimm) and Maria (Vitor) Carvalho. Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Adam) Thornhill, Amanda Barroso (Glen Puffer), Michael Barroso, Matthew Barroso; Steven Almeida, Kristen Almeida, Taylor Almeida; Monica Carvalho (Nick Daurio), Sonia Carvalho (Peter DeFaria) and Brian Carvalho. Lovingly remembered by her siblings, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Roberts, nurses Brenda, Barbara, Marie, Teresa and Cindy for their compassionate care for Fatima and her family. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford. In Fatima�s memory, donations may be made to the Cardiac Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
