Obituary of Don Wylie

Retired Sales Manager of Miles Pharmaceutical (Bayer) Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Simcoe Manor, Beeton, in his 87th year on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.  Loving Husband of almost 65 years to his wife June (nee Brooks). Much loved Father of Diane Kleinsteiber (George), David, Karen Sharpe (Ron), Kevin (Alison), Lynda and predeceased by Bobby. Beloved Grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Beloved Son of late James Hilliard Wylie and the late Irene Irish. Beloved Brother of the late Douglas Wylie. Don was a long time member of God's family and attended Heritage Baptist Church in Barrie and Victory Baptist Church in Newmarket. The family gives thanks to the remarkable care provided to Don by all the staff at Simcoe Manor where his wife June still resides. Don was proud of starting up a newsletter at the Manor called �Simcoe Matters� and was the Assistant Editor. Don was Vice President of the resident�s council and started a weekly bible study group at Simcoe Manor. Don loved his weekly shopping outings to Walmart in Alliston, where he will be fondly remembered. Friends may call at Victory Baptist Church, 18408 Yonge St., East Gwillimbury (Newmarket) on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery, Toronto.
