Obituary of Sarah Ann Vernon

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Wednesday morning, October 15, 2014 in Simcoe Manor, Beeton, Ontario. Edna was the fifth child born to Fred and Annie Brown of Gilford, Ontario on March 27, 1925. Wife of the late George Vernon (1979). Loving Mother of Bob (Sandy), Dorene (Randy) Lemire, Pauline Bristow, and Darlene (John) Holland. Proud Grandmother of eight grandchildren Vicki (Rupert) Hewison, Corey (Tiffany) Bristow, Michael (Suzanne) Lemire, Lori Lemire, Duncan (Natalie) Vernon, James (Shawna) Vernon, Allison (Cary) MacDonald and Dennis Holland. Cherished Great Grandmother of sixteen great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by three siblings, Donelda Foster, Lorene Hollingshead and Bernice Rawn. Predeceased by siblings, Bob Brown, Gladys Ball, Earl Brown, Bill Brown, Marion Magloughlen and Edith Brown. Forever in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews and all the staff and friends at Simcoe Village and Simcoe Manor.
