Obituary of Bruce George Keffer

Peacefully passed away at MacKenzie Health Centre, Richmond Hill on Saturday, October 11, 2014.  Bruce Keffer of Bradford West Gwillimbury at 95 years of age.  Beloved husband of Jean (nee Phillips).  Loving dad of Janice (Doug) Wilkinson and Robert (Jean) Keffer. Proud Pa of Jason (Melissa), Todd (Tabby), Philip, Nicole (Brent) and Matthew. Cherished great grandfather of Taylor, Lauren, Jack and Jesse. Predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Walker, Harold Keffer and Elizabeth McClement. Bruce will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Bruce�s caregiver, Shelley Wilson for her loving care. Bruce was a proud member of the agricultural community, long time member of the Bond Head United Church and a former councillor of West Gwillimbury Township.  Friends may call at St. John�s Presbyterian Church, 2940 10th Sideroad, Bradford for visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at the St. John�s Presbyterian Church on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11 a.m.  Interment Bond Head Cemetery.  In Bruce�s memory, donations may be made to the Bond Head United Church � Accessibility Fund. A giving man, with integrity, who treated everyone with respect and stood up for what he believed in.�
