Obituary of John Nanowski

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, August 3, 2014. John Nanowski of Bradford  at 65 years of age. Beloved husband of Mikki (nee Matys). Loving father of John-Paul, Michael (Elisabeth), Joe, Annie and Katherine. Proud grandfather of Matthew. Dear brother of Erica (late Tom) Lenartowicz. Dear brother-in-law of Joe (Nancy) Matys, Stan (Diane) Matys and Helen (John) Dolinski. John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Anglin, Dr. Lingley, Dr. Nikon and nurses Adrianna, Vanessa and Lisa for their compassionate care of John. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford. In John�s memory, donations may be made to Bradford Community Foundation or Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
