Obituary of Lawrence Yakiwchuk

Retired Sergeant of O.P.P. Peacefully passed away with family at his side at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.  Lorne Yakiwchuk of Barrie and formerly of Gilford at 71 years of age.  Beloved husband of Lois for 45 years.  Loving dad of Miranda Yakiwchuk (Bill Brockway) and Jordan Yakiwchuk. Proud �Geda� of Emma, Leia and Anna. Dear brother of Paul (Maureen) and Ernie (Eileen). Lorne will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. A celebration of Lorne�s life will be held at Belcroft Event Centre, 2539 14th Line, Bradford West Gwillimbury for a BBQ on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 11:30 -2:30 p.m. (summer casual - just the way he would have liked it.)
