Obituary of Johanna Verkaik

Peacefully passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Friday, May 9, 2014.  Anne Verkaik (nee Maan) of Barrie and formerly of Springdale in her 83rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Anthony �Tony� Verkaik.  Loving mother of Debbie VanLeusen (Jack Vos and late Jerry VanLeusen) and Arlene Kooring-Murray (Brian Murray and late Dan Kooring).  Proud grandma of Jeremy (Charlene), Aaron (Lesley) and Andrea VanLeusen (Brad Thompson); Bradley (Yvonne), Jordan, Kenny and Curtis Kooring and Jake Murray.  Dear great grandma of Julia Kooring.  Dear sister of Jean (Hank) Meyer, Jane (Harry) Horlings, Irene Verkaik and Brian (Joanne) Maan.  Anne will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Springdale Christian Reformed Church, 1466 5th Sideroad, Bradford  for visitation on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service held at the Church at 12 noon.  Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.  In Anne�s memory, donations may be made to the Holland Marsh and District Christian School or World Renew (Hunger Relief).
