Obituary of Gwendolyn Ruth Burkholder

(Retired proprietor of Burkholder�s General Store in Queensville; leader in the Queensville United Church and community; received Life Pin for her auxiliary work at York County Hospital, Newmarket)  Peacefully passed away with family at her side on Monday, November 25, 2013.  Gwen Burkholder (nee Boyd) of Queensville in her 87th year.  Beloved wife of the late William.  Loving mother of Candyce (Robert) Brown, Judy (John) Froats, Marijane (Frank) Perry and William (Wendy).  Proud grandma of Stephannie (Jody) Innes, Megan (Jim) Blackwood, Alyson (John) McRae; Jennifer (Mike) Pashley, Jon (Nat) Froats, Jordan (Katy Abram); Shawn (Sarah) Perry, Melissa (Barney) Dixon; Katie Burkholder and Ryan Burkholder.  Lovingly remembered by 13 great grandchildren and many friends and neighbours.  Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on  Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Queensville Holland Landing United Church, 20453 Leslie St., Queensville on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1 p.m.  Private family interment at Queensville Cemetery.  In Gwen�s memory, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
