Obituary of Allan Dixon

Peacefully passed away at York Central Hospital, Richmond Hill on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.  Allan Dixon of Mt. Albert in his 94th year.  Beloved husband of Grace (nee Arnold) and predeceased by his first wife Muriel (nee Pegg). Loving father of Marilyn (Ralph) Cox, Eric, Larry (Lorraine), Janice (Len) Graves, Karen (Neil) Clark, Margaret (Milton) Collingwood and Daniel. Cherished grandfather of Mark (Joanne) Graves, Barry (Lisa) Graves, Elissa (Richard) Ballard, Emily Clark, David Clark, Brad Cox (Rhona Cue), Graig Cox, Lea Collingwood (Bethany McGillivray), Jenna (Richard) Precoor , Scott Bois and predeceased by Deanna Graves and Lindsay Collingwood. Dear great grandfather of Brittyn, Nikolette, Allan and Hunter Graves. Fondly remembered by step-children Diane (George) Kydd, Dalton (Terry) Risebrough and Don (Linda) Risebrough. Survived by his sisters Florence Oldham and Iva Wood and predeceased by Charlotte Martin and Ellen Bunn. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at York Central Hospital and staff of the Nephrology Unit. Also, our deep appreciation to the Oak Ridges Dialysis Clinic for their wonderful care. Friends may call at the Mt. Albert United Church, 41 Alice St., Mt. Albert for visitation on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Church on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment Mt. Albert Cemetery.
