Obituary of Roy Weddel

(Retired Owner/Operator of Newmarket Pre-Cast Concrete) Suddenly, but peacefully passed away at his cherished home in the Bahamas on Saturday, March 10, 2012.  Roy Weddel of Mt. Albert at 74 years of age.  Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Ewen) for 53 years. Loving father of Brian (Christina), Bradley (Bonny), Kevin (Anne) and Wayne. Proud papa of Matthew (Sabrina), Tonia, Nicole, Ryan; Adam; Kurtis, Kayleigh and Emily. Cherished great papa of Alexis, Chalaine, Emmit and Annika. Roy will be fondly remembered by the Weddel and Ewen families, and many friends and colleagues. A public visitation will be held at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME 19153 Centre St., Mt. Albert (1-800-209-4803) on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private funeral will be held followed by a public celebration of his life at the Mt. Albert Lions Hall, 5057 Mt. Albert Rd., Mt. Albert on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. In Roy�s memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
