Obituary of Howard R. Thompson

It is with heavy hearts that Howard�s children announce his peaceful passing at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket. He joined his wife Muriel (nee Bell) in Heaven on Friday, July 29, 2011. Loving father to Bill and Judy, Mary and Russel, Ken, Cathy, Rhonda and Phillip. Grandfather to Barry, Crystal, Jenny, Bradley and Julie. Great grandfather to Macy, Katrina, Klara and Jonathan. Predeceased by his parents George and Phyllis, his sisters Glena and Jean, and his brother Ron. Brother to Royce (Marg), Doug (Viola), Harry (Kay), Dalt (Marie), Tom, and Joe (Barb). Sadly missed by his very good friend Alma Zogalo. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. Special thanks to Dr. Fry and her team, and the nurses on the Palliative Care Unit at Southlake. Your compassionate care made this journey a little easier to bear for Dad and his family. Thank you. Rest in peace Dad, your fight is over and your journey is complete.
