Obituary of Effie Ross

(October 6th 1907 � May 7th 2011) Peacefully at Brookside Court Retirement Residence, Richmond Hill on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in her 104th year. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Winnifred Ross and 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Muriel, now 98, and her sister-in-law Joan Ross of St. Thomas. Effie lived with her sister Muriel for many years. She and Muriel cottaged for many years in Muskoka. Effie was a lifetime employee of the Toronto Dominion Bank and retired as one of its senior ladies. Effie was a generous, happy and spirited person who thoroughly enjoyed life and her very large family connection. Effie will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
