Obituary of Douglas Batten

Peacefully passed away, after a short illness at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Friday, May 31, 2013.  Doug Batten of Bradford and formerly of Schomberg in his 80th year.  Beloved husband of June Batten (Wray). Loving dad of Rick (Jan) Wray. Proud grandpa of Kris Wray. Dear brother of Bernard (Judy) Batten, Claudine Batten and Maxine (Gerald) Boutcher.  Doug will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for a memorial visitation on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial service in the Chapel at 11 a.m.  Burial of ashes at Bond Head United Church Cemetery. In Doug�s memory, donations may be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
