Obituary of John Beintema

Peacefully passed away at Parkview Meadows Christian Retirement Village, Townsend on Monday, April 22, 2013. John Beintema of Townsend and formerly of the Holland Marsh at 94 years of age. Beloved husband of Hendrika Torensma and late Boukje (nee Fokkens). Loving father of late Betty (Fred) Osti, Peter (Roseann), late John, Grace (Andrew) Steringa, Florence (Paul) Corneau, Clarence (Ellen), Henry (Debbie), Shirley (David) dePeuter and Joanne (George) Hoving. Loving Pake to 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and predeceased by 2 grandchildren.  Survived by his brother Durk and sister Djokje and predeceased by Klaas, Saapke, Liewe, Hendrik, Johannas and Pieter. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Holland Marsh Christian Reformed Church, 18935 Dufferin St., Newmarket on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. In John�s memory, donations may be made to World Renew (formerly C.R.W.R.C.) or Canadian Cancer Society.
