Peacefully passed away, after a long fought battle with cancer, on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket. Victor Fernandes of Bradford at 75 years of age. Beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of Anita (David) Manuel and Diana (Roderick) Cummins. Dear brother of Antonio (Mimi) Fernandes and Natalia (Rui) Casteleijo and their families. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation.
